2.Boston- More Than a Feeling


I looked out this morning and the sun was gone
Turned on some music to start my day
I lost myself in a familiar song
I closed my eyes and I slipped away

Its more than a feeling, when I hear that old song they used to play (more than a feeling)
I begin dreaming (more than a feeling)
till I see marianne walk away
I see my marianne walkin away

So many people have come and gone
Their faces fade as the years go by
Yet I still recall as I wander on
As clear as the sun in the summer sky

When Im tired and thinking cold
I hide in my music, forget the day
And dream of a girl I used to know
I closed my eyes and she slipped away

3. This song is a perfect example on the Role of Feelings from chapter 3. In the very beginning of chapter 3 is discusses on how feelings came to be emphasized. It states that the emphasis of moral relativism, two individuals are important in the development of feelings. In Boston's song he talks about a girl that he once knew and that whenever he begins to even think of her he transitions to this other place dreaming and wondering, which leads him to have these feelings that he once had. I felt by listening to every lyric in this song portrays a perfect example of how feelings can be emphasized, especially in the development of moral relativism.

4.Arguable issue: whether or not this post deserves points...if yes, how many?
Conclusion: this post deserves 25 points
Premises: this post deserves 25 points because:
1. I followed all of the guidelines that were given.
2. I enjoyed how we were able to pick anything that related to the chapters.
3. Not only is this song awesome, but it is a perfect example that expresses the Role of Feelings.
